Biography
Arena rock band formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1975 by guitarist, keyboard player and songwriter Tom Scholz, whose home demos became the debut album 'Boston' (1976), one of the best-selling first albums in rock history, sung by Brad Delp. 'Don't Look Back' (1978) and the chart-topping 'Third Stage' (1986) followed, but Scholz's perfectionism and label disputes limited the band to six studio albums in five decades. Delp died in 2007; Scholz continues to lead Boston on tour.
