Biography
Buffalo was a Sydney hard rock band (1971-1977) fronted by Dave Tice and an early flagship of #Vertigo# in Australia. Albums such as 'Dead Forever...' (1972) and 'Volcanic Rock' (1973) made them founding figures of Australian heavy metal; bassist Peter Wells later co-founded *Rose Tattoo*. Their records, once overlooked abroad, are now recognised internationally as essential documents of the first wave of Australian heavy music.
