New Jersey metalcore band formed in 1999 by Dave Witte and John Adubato with Mike Olender and Ted Patterson. Burnt by the Sun combined grindcore speed, mathcore precision and political lyrics with unexpected humour on 'Soundtrack to the Personal Revolution', 'The Perfect Is the Enemy of the Good' and 'Heart of Darkness', all for #Relapse Records#. Split after 2009, the original core announced a reunion in 2026.
