Biography
Seattle deathgrind band formed by members of *Mortiferum*, *Fetid*, *Cerebral Rot* and *Magrudergrind*. Caustic Wound play short, violent songs rooted in early grindcore and old-school death metal. Their debut album 'Death Posture' appeared in 2020 on #Profound Lore Records#, followed by 'Grinding Mechanism of Torment' in 2025. Singer Clyle Lindstrom, guitarists Max Bowman and Chase Slaker, bassist Tony Wolfe and drummer Casey Moore have formed the line-up on both albums, making the band a faster counterpart to the members' slower death-doom work.
