Biography
Cheekface is a Los Angeles indie rock trio formed in 2017, made up of guitarist and talk-singer Greg Katz, bassist and vocalist Amanda Tannen and drummer Mark 'Echo' Edwards. Their short, lyric-driven songs mix geek rock and power pop with dry humour, anxiety and sociopolitical unease. Albums on Katz's #New Professor Music# include 'Therapy Island', 'Emphatically No.', 'Too Much to Ask', 'It's Sorted', 'Middle Spoon' and 'Podium'. The band styles itself America's Local Band, and its fans are known as Cheek Freaks.
