Biography
CHON were an American math rock band from Oceanside, California, formed in 2008 by guitarists Mario Camarena and Erick Hansel and drummer Nathan Camarena. Their bright, largely instrumental progressive rock, built on interlocking guitars and odd metres, produced the EPs 'Newborn Sun' and 'Woohoo!' and three albums on #Sumerian Records#: 'Grow' (2015), 'Homey' (2017) and 'Chon' (2019), after years of heavy touring across North America, Europe and Asia.
