Biography
American psychedelic rock band formed in Houston, Texas in 1968 as United Gas by Doug Tull, Richard Avitts and Doug Walden. Renamed Christopher by #Metromedia Records# after moving to Los Angeles, the band completed its sole album with session drummers John Simpson and Terrance Hand after Tull was dismissed mid recording. 'Christopher' (1970), issued in a small pressing, became a collectable work of fuzz driven acid rock before the band split.
