Biography
Chromatics were a Portland, Oregon electronic band formed by Adam Miller in 2001. After an early post-punk incarnation and the debut 'Chrome Rats vs Basement Rutz' (2003), Miller rebuilt the group around singer Ruth Radelet, producer Johnny Jewel and drummer Nat Walker. On #Italians Do It Better# they fused Italo disco, synth-pop and dream pop on the acclaimed 'Night Drive' (2007) and 'Kill for Love' (2012). The band broke up in August 2021, after the final albums 'Closer to Grey' (2019) and 'Faded Now' (2020).
