Cinder Well

Biography

Cinder Well is the project of Amelia Baker, a California-born singer-songwriter based in County Clare, Ireland, where she studied Irish traditional music at the University of Limerick. Her albums 'No Summer' (2020) and 'Cadence' (2023) join Irish and Appalachian balladry to sparse, droning arrangements. She has recorded an NPR Tiny Desk concert and tours internationally, often as a trio with viola and drums.
