Biography
Circus was a Basel progressive rock quartet — Roland Frei, Andreas Grieder, Marco Cerletti and Fritz Hauser — whose saxophone- and flute-led sound dispensed with electric guitar and keyboards. Their three studio albums, 'Circus' (1976), the acclaimed 'Movin' On' (1977) and 'Fearless, Tearless and Even Less' (1980), make them one of Switzerland's most admired progressive bands, and their records have been reissued for collectors several times since the band split.
