Biography
Coalesce are a Kansas City metalcore band formed in 1994, pioneers of mathcore's shifting tempos and noise with vocalist Sean Ingram and guitarist Jes Steineger at the core. Albums including 'Give Them Rope' (1997) and 'Functioning on Impatience' (1998) built their reputation; after a long fracture they returned with 'Ox' (2009) on #Relapse Records# and still perform sporadically at festivals and one-off shows.
