Biography
Crash of Rhinos is an English rock band from Derby known for their distinctive lineup featuring two bassists, two guitarists, and vocals from all five members. Their sound drew heavily from 90s emo, math rock, and post-hardcore, echoing bands like *Jawbreaker* and *Cap'n Jazz*. They released two critically acclaimed albums, 'Distal' and 'Knots', on labels including #Big Scary Monsters# and #Topshelf Records#, which were celebrated for their complex arrangements and raw emotional intensity. After disbanding in 2014, with members forming *Holding Patterns*, the band reunited in 2025, releasing their third album 'Logbook' in 2026.
