Biography
Washington, D.C. melodic death metal band Darkest Hour, formed in 1995 by John Henry and Mike Schleibaum, fused hardcore roots with Swedish-style riffing on albums including 'Undoing Ruin' (2005), 'Deliver Us' (2007) and 'The Eternal Return' (2009). One of the most durable American metalcore acts, they returned in 2024 with 'Perpetual Terminal' after a seven-year album gap. The line-up has centred on Henry and Schleibaum throughout.
