Biography
American filmmaker turned recording artist (20 January 1946 to 15 January 2025), born in Missoula, Montana. In music Lynch moved from writing songs with *Angelo Badalamenti* for *Julee Cruise* to his own albums: the industrial blues of 'BlueBOB' (2001), the solo records 'Crazy Clown Time' (2011) and 'The Big Dream' (2013), and collaborations with *Chrystabell* closing with 'Cellophane Memories' (2024), all marked by the dreamlike unease of his films.
