Biography
British acoustic guitarist from Hinckley, Leicestershire, and one of the most influential fingerstyle players of the folk revival. Graham's 'Anji' (1962) became a rite of passage for acoustic guitarists, and he pioneered the DADGAD tuning that reshaped British folk guitar. Albums like 'Folk, Blues & Beyond', his album for #Decca#, fused folk, blues, jazz and North African and Indian influences. His later career was damaged by addiction and illness, but a revival of interest late in his life confirmed his standing among players such as *Bert Jansch* and *John Renbourn*.
