Biography
Dawn is a cult Swedish black metal band from Linköping, formed in 1990 and built around guitarist Fredrik Söderberg and vocalist Henke Forss. Across just two studio albums for #Necropolis Records#, 'Nær sólen gar niþer for evogher' and 'Slaughtersun (Crown of the Triarchy)', the band fused blast-beat ferocity with long, melodic, almost symphonic guitar lines, earning 'Slaughtersun' a lasting reputation as one of the finest Swedish black metal records of the 1990s.
