Biography
Brutal death metal band Deeds of Flesh formed in Los Osos, California, in 1993 around Erik Lindmark, Jacoby Kingston and Joey Heaslet, and founded the label #Unique Leader Records#. Albums such as 'Mark of the Legion' (2001) made them underground pillars. Lindmark's death in 2018 paused the band; Kingston revived it for 'Nucleus' (2020), and it remains active today. The label remains a central institution of American death metal.
