Biography
DAF (Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft) was a Düsseldorf electronic band formed in 1978, centred on Gabi Delgado-López and Robert Görl. Their #Virgin# albums 'Alles ist gut' and 'Gold und Liebe' (both 1981) forged a hard, sequencer-driven sound foundational to EBM and techno. Delgado-López's death in 2020 closed the band's history, leaving a small catalogue with an outsized influence on electronic music worldwide.
