Biography
Pennsylvania-raised singer-songwriter Diane Cluck emerged from New York's early-2000s anti-folk scene with a self-released debut in 2000. Her intuitive folk, built on clawed fingerpicking and an elastic, warbling voice, earned a devoted cult following through albums such as 'Macy's Day Bird' (2001), 'Oh Vanille / Ova Nil' (2004), 'Boneset' (2014) and 'Common Wealth' (2020), and younger songwriters cite her as a formative influence.
