Biography
Dope Body was a Baltimore noise rock band formed in 2008 by Andrew Laumann, Zachary Utz and David Jacober, later joined by bassist John Jones. Their albums for #Drag City# — 'Natural History', 'Lifer' and 'Kunk' — fused noise, post-hardcore and sludge with unusual rhythmic violence. The band split in 2016 and briefly reunited in 2020–21. Their records captured the energy of Baltimore's DIY scene at its most feral.
