Doug Clifford

Doug "Cosmo" Clifford is the American drummer and a founding member of the legendary rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993. Known for his powerful and distinctive drumming style, he was the rhythmic backbone for iconic hits like "Born on the Bayou" and "Fortunate Son". After CCR disbanded in 1972, Clifford released a solo album titled 'Cosmo' and later formed The Don Harrison Band with CCR bassist *Stu Cook*. In 1995, Clifford and *Cook* launched Creedence Clearwater Revisited, a successful touring project dedicated to performing their former band's beloved catalog for new generations of fans.
