Eiafuawn

Biography

Eiafuawn is the solo alias of Clay Parton of *Duster*, its name an acronym for 'everything is all fucked up and what not'. Parton recorded the project alone at home while Duster were inactive, releasing 'Birds in the Ground' on his own #The Static Cult Label#. The album pairs slowcore's muted sadness with lo-fi slacker rock: short songs, fuzzed guitars and shy, intimate vocals. A word-of-mouth cult favorite for years, Eiafuawn was rediscovered by a new generation of listeners after Duster's 2018 reunion and the reissue of the band's catalog.
