Biography
El Columpio Asesino were a Pamplona band formed in 1999 around brothers Albaro and Raúl Arizaleta and singer Cristina MartÃnez. Across six studio albums, from their 2003 debut on #Astro Discos# to 'Ataque celeste' (2020), they fused krautrock, post-punk and electronics. 'Diamantes' (2011) and its single 'Toro' made them one of Spain's defining alternative acts. The band announced its split in February 2023 and played an extended farewell tour into 2024.
