Biography
Emitt Rhodes (1950–2020) was an American singer-songwriter who, after fronting *The Merry-Go-Round*, recorded his 1970 solo debut 'Emitt Rhodes' entirely alone at home, a feat of one-man pop craftsmanship. Silenced by contract disputes for four decades, he returned in 2016 with the acclaimed 'Rainbow Ends'. His early albums, long sought by collectors, are now regarded as lost classics of melodic pop.
