Biography
Epitaph is an Anglo-German progressive and hard rock band formed in Dortmund in 1969 by Cliff Jackson, Jim McGillivray and Bernd Kolbe. Their early #Polydor Records# albums 'Epitaph' (1971) and 'Stop, Look and Listen' (1972) paired progressive rock with twin-guitar harmonies, and 'Outside the Law' (1974) took them toward hard rock. After two splits, the band reformed in 2000 with Jackson, Kolbe and Heinz Glass, and continues to record, most recently 'Don't Let the Gray Hair Fool You' (2024).
