Biography
Falconer were a Swedish power metal band active from 1999 to 2020, founded by ex-*Mithotyn* guitarist Stefan Weinerhall with drummer Karsten Larsson and actor-singer Mathias Blad. Their nine albums for #Metal Blade#, from 'Falconer' in 2001 to the farewell 'From a Dying Ember' in 2020, set clean theatrical vocals and Swedish folk melodies against galloping power metal, a combination few contemporaries attempted.
