- Born: April 7, 1975 in Nacka, Stockholm, Sweden
Biography
Fever Ray is the solo guise of Swedish musician Karin Dreijer of *The Knife*, a project of disguised voices, ritual imagery and unsettled electronic pop. The self-titled debut 'Fever Ray' (2009) on #Rabid Records# yielded 'If I Had a Heart'; 'Plunge' (2017) and 'Radical Romantics' (2023) pushed the project toward ecstatic, politically charged art-pop. Dreijer's masked stage personae make each Fever Ray performance a piece of theatre.
