Biography
Flight of the Conchords are the Wellington comedy duo Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement, formed in 1998. Their deadpan folk parodies moved from the Edinburgh and Melbourne festival circuit to a BBC radio series and then an HBO sitcom (2007 to 2009), with the songs collected on 'Flight of the Conchords' (2008) and 'I Told You I Was Freaky' (2009) for #Sub Pop#. The EP 'The Distant Future' won a Grammy for Best Comedy Album, and the pair still perform together occasionally.
