Biography
American avant-garde instrumental trio from Connecticut, formed in 1989 by guitarist and composer Charles O'Meara, known as C. W. Vrtacek, and drummer John Roulat. Their music on #Cuneiform Records# weaves folk, surf rock, jazz, metal and country into concise, highly arranged pieces with absurdly long titles, inviting comparisons to *King Crimson*, *Frank Zappa* and *Gong*. Five studio albums run from 'Artificial Horizon' (1990) to 'Racket Science' (2005), with Marc Sichel, Jack Vees and Kevin Gerety successively on bass.
