Biography
Gary Wilson is an outsider musician from Endicott, New York, best known for 'You Think You Really Know Me', the basement-recorded 1977 album he pressed and distributed himself. A teenage encounter with *John Cage* steered his lounge and funk instincts toward experimental songwriting, delivered in an unsettling croon through performances wrapped in gauze, flour and duct tape. After two decades away, reissues brought him back in the 2000s, and he has recorded and performed ever since, a cult figure for hypnagogic pop.
