Biography
The Good Rats are a Long Island rock band formed in 1964 and led for nearly fifty years by singer and songwriter Peppi Marchello. Their classic 1970s line-up, with Mickey Marchello, John Gatto, Lenny Kotke and Joe Franco, made 'Tasty', 'Ratcity in Blue' and 'From Rats to Riches', and the band became a legendary live draw without ever scoring a national hit. Peppi's son Stefan Marchello leads the band today.
