Biography
Gridlink was an American grindcore band from Hoboken, New Jersey, formed in 2004 by singer Jon Chang of *Discordance Axis* and guitarist Takafumi Matsubara. Their albums 'Amber Grey' (2008), 'Orphan' (2011) and 'Longhena' (2014) for #Hydra Head Records# set a benchmark for technical, melodic grindcore. After a long hiatus caused by Matsubara's hand injury, the band reunited for a fourth album, 'Coronet Juniper' (2023), before disbanding again.
