Gun Outfit is an American band that blends elements of indie rock, country-americana, and psychedelic folk. Formed in Olympia, Washington by Dylan Sharp and Carrie Keith, the band later relocated to Los Angeles. Their early work on the #Post Present Medium# label, such as the album 'Dim Light', was noted for a noisy, post-punk sound reminiscent of artists like *Sonic Youth*. With their move to the #Paradise of Bachelors# label for albums like 'Dream All Over' and 'Out of Range', their music evolved into a more relaxed, expansive style often dubbed 'Western Expanse,' characterized by dual guitar interplay, laid-back vocals, and a sun-drenched, dusty atmosphere.
