Halo Manash

Biography

Halo Manash is a Finnish ritual ambient project begun around 1998 by Anti Ittna Haapapuro and associated with the Helixes collective and the label #Aural Hypnox#. Using electronics, percussion, e-bowed guitar, bone flute and natural sound sources, it creates dark, organic, trance-like works. Notable albums include 'Se Its En', 'Par-Antra I: VIR' and 'Am Kha Astrie', works rooted in northern Finnish nature, primal experience and a search for transcendence beyond ordinary perception and form.
