Biography
Heaven Shall Burn is a German metalcore and melodic death metal band formed in Saalfeld in 1996. Built around guitarist Maik Weichert and vocalist Marcus Bischoff, the band broke through with 'Asunder' and 'Whatever It May Take' on #Lifeforce Records#, then joined #Century Media# for 'Antigone', 'Deaf to Our Prayers' and the 'Iconoclast' trilogy. Their records pair extreme metal with anti-racist, anti-capitalist and animal rights lyrics. 'Veto' reached number two in Germany, and 'Of Truth and Sacrifice' topped the German chart in 2020.
