Biography
London band Help Yourself, nicknamed the Helps, were unsung heroes of early 1970s British pub rock. Built around songwriter Malcolm Morley with Richard Treece, Dave Charles, Ken Whaley and Paul Burton, they released four studio albums for #United Artists Records# between 1971 and 1973, from 'Help Yourself' and 'Strange Affair' to 'Beware the Shadow' and 'The Return of Ken Whaley'. Their laid back, psychedelic country rock won a devoted cult following, and the belated completion of '5' in 2004 closed their story.
