Biography
Hot Cross were a post-hardcore and screamo band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, active from 2000 to 2007. Formed by *Saetia* members Billy Werner and Greg Drudy with Casey Boland, Josh Jakubowski and Matt Smith, the band paired frantic vocals with intricate twin-guitar arrangements influenced by *Drive Like Jehu*. Their records 'Cryonics' (2003) on #Level Plane Records# and 'Risk Revival' (2007) on #Equal Vision Records#, alongside the EPs 'A New Set of Lungs' and 'Fair Trades and Farewells', made them a defining act of 2000s screamo before their 2007 hiatus.
