Biography
Il Volo were a short-lived Italian progressive rock supergroup formed in Milan in 1973 by guitarists Alberto Radius and Mario Lavezzi, keyboardists Vincenzo Tempera and Gabriele Lorenzi, bassist Roberto Callero and drummer Gianni Dall'Aglio. With lyrics by *Mogol*, their two albums, 'Il Volo' and 'Essere o non essere?', married melodic Italian songwriting to twin-keyboard progressive arrangements. The group split in 1975, leaving a small, prized catalogue within Rock Progressivo Italiano.
