Biography
Incubus was the original name of the Louisiana death/thrash metal band subsequently known as Opprobrium. Founded in Metairie by Brazilian-born brothers Francis and Moyses Howard, the group recorded 'Serpent Temptation' with bassist and vocalist Scot Latour, then followed it with 'Beyond the Unknown'. Francis Howard took over vocals after Latour's departure. This group is distinct from the alternative rock band formed in Calabasas and fronted by Brandon Boyd. Its early recordings have subsequently been reissued under the Opprobrium name.
