Biography
Montreal mathcore band Ion Dissonance, formed in 2001, built its reputation on extreme precision: abrupt rhythmic stops, dense twin-guitar riffing and ferocious vocals. Guitarists Antoine Lussier and Sébastien Chaput and drummer Jean-François Richard have been constants from the demo '.357' through 'Breathing Is Irrelevant', 'Solace' and 'Cursed', with Kevin McCaughey fronting the band since 2006 and leading the comeback album 'Cast the First Stone' (2016).
