Biography
Jan Dukes de Grey was a Leeds progressive folk band formed in 1968 by Derek Noy and Michael Bairstow. Their second album 'Mice and Rats in the Loft' (1971), with drummer Denis Conlan, is a cult landmark of British acid folk; a third album, 'Strange Terrain', recorded in 1977, stayed unreleased until 2010. Original pressings of both albums rank among the most valuable British folk records.
