Biography

Josh Homme is an American musician, singer, and producer, celebrated as a central figure in the desert rock scene. He first gained prominence as the guitarist for the pioneering stoner rock band Kyuss. After their split, he founded Queens of the Stone Age in 1996, serving as the frontman and primary creative force, leading the band to international acclaim with albums like 'Rated R' and 'Songs for the Deaf'. His distinctive, riff-oriented guitar style and baritone vocals are his trademarks. Homme is also a co-founder of the rock band Eagles of Death Metal and the supergroup Them Crooked Vultures, alongside *Dave Grohl* and *John Paul Jones*.
