Biography
Joy Unlimited was a Mannheim progressive rock band that evolved from Joy & The Hit Kids, the soul group fronted by singer Joy Fleming from 1966. After the blues rock of 'Overground' (1970), the band pursued progressive, ballet-derived works on 'Schmetterlinge' (1971). Fleming left in 1972; the largely instrumental 'Reflections' (1973) and the folk-leaning 'Minne' (1974) followed before the group finally dissolved in 1976.
