Biography
American singer-songwriter Julie Byrne, born in Buffalo, New York in 1990, writes intimate folk songs built on fingerpicked nylon-string guitar and a low, luminous voice. Her early Chicago cassettes became 'Rooms With Walls and Windows' in 2014; 'Not Even Happiness' followed in 2017. 'The Greater Wings' (2023), made with her late collaborator *Eric Littmann*, who died in 2021, expanded her sound with harp, strings and synthesisers, and stands as a memorial to their partnership and a record of grief and renewal.
