Biography
Jumbo was a Milan progressive rock band formed in 1969 by Alvaro Fella. Its sextet recorded three albums for #Philips Records#, including the Italian prog landmark 'DNA' (1972) and the censored concept album 'Vietato ai minori di 18 anni' (1973), before splitting in 1975 and becoming a fixture of collectors' lists. Reissues on vinyl have since carried the band's three albums to new generations of progressive rock listeners across Europe and Japan.
