Justin Vernon

Justin Vernon is an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist best known as the creative force behind the indie folk project Bon Iver. Known for his distinctive falsetto and layered, atmospheric sound, Vernon first gained widespread acclaim with the Bon Iver debut album, 'For Emma, Forever Ago'. A prolific collaborator, he is a core member of several other bands, including the experimental Volcano Choir, the soft-rock collective Gayngs, and Big Red Machine with *Aaron Dessner* of *The National*. His work often blends folk, electronic, and experimental elements, and he has also founded the #Chigliak# record label imprint and the April Base studio in his hometown of Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
