Biography
Kairon; IRSE! are a Finnish psychedelic rock quartet from western Finland: Johannes Kohal (drums), Dmitry Melet (bass, vocals), Lasse Luhta (guitar) and Niko Lehdontie (guitar). Their DIY debut 'Ujubasajuba' (2014) became an accidental cult success, blending shoegaze, jazz and progressive rock. On #Svart Records# they released the more composed 'Ruination' (2017) and 'Polysomn' (2020), records that carried their cult reputation well beyond Finland. The quartet has remained unchanged throughout its career, and its nonsense name was invented by the members at school.
