Biography
Kano was a Milan Italo disco project formed in 1979 by producers Luciano Ninzatti, Stefano Pulga and Matteo Bonsanto. Debut single 'I'm Ready' (1980) blended disco, funk, synthesizers and vocoder vocals, defining the new Italo disco sound. Singer Glen White fronted 'New York Cake' (1981) and 'Another Life' (1983) before the project ended in 1985, its grooves later sampled across hip hop and house.
