Biography
Kent, Sweden's biggest rock band of their era, formed in Eskilstuna in 1990 and took their name in 1993 after earlier incarnations as Coca-Cola Kids, Jones & Giftet and Havsänglar. Joakim Berg's songs, sung in Swedish, carried albums from 'Kent' (1995) and 'Verkligen' (1996) to 'Vapen & ammunition' (2002) and 'Då som nu för alltid' (2016) to the top of the Swedish charts. The band split after a farewell tour in December 2016, then the core line-up of Berg, Martin Sköld, Sami Sirviö and Markus Mustonen reunited for Stockholm concerts in March 2025.
