Biography
Warsaw quartet Klan, founded in 1969 and led by Marek A艂aszewski, were pioneers of Polish progressive rock. Their 1971 album 'Mrowisko', written for a ballet production, blends psychedelic rock, jazz touches and Polish language songwriting, and remains their defining statement. After an early EP and a long gap, the group resurfaced with later albums such as 'Po Co Mi Ten Raj' and 'Nerwy Miast', with the original core line-up of A艂aszewski, Maciej G艂uszkiewicz, Roman Pawelski and Andrzej Poniatowski still at its heart.
